Building a New Community at Hendy House

The project reaches a major milestone in January with the opening on the marketing suite on Holdenhurst Road. The suite is located a short walk from Hendy House and will start taking reservations once opened.
Rapid progress on site has continued despite the challenging weather. The structure is complete to the 6th floor with only the roof to complete in early January.
The external facade works have started with scaffolding erected around the perimeter and inside, trades are busy constructing inner walls and installing cabling and pipework.

CHRISTMAS CLOSURE: 24th DECEMBER - 3RD JANUARY
FOOTPRINT FRIENDLY CONSTRUCTION
Sustainable construction is at the heart of our development approach, reducing our impact on the environment and local community.
As part of this, we recently took delivery of over 200 preassembled bathroom 'pods'. These pods dramatically reduce the number of workers and vehicles we need on site, lowering our carbon footprint and increasing the speed of the entire development.
Called 'Design for Manufacture and Assembly', this technique reduces vehicle deliveries to site, as well as reducing waste and improving worker safety as technical components can be assembled in dedicated factory environments.
A MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER
As 2022 draws to a close, it's a good time to reflect on a period of dramatic progress on site as the new buildings begin to take shape. The project remains on track for completion in August 2023 despite everything the wonderful British weather has thrown at us.
As well as the progress on site, I'm thrilled that the development has continued safely and making every effort to reduce the impact on the local community.
Christmas is a time for rest and relaxation with family and friends and our site is no different. Construction operations will cease on 24th December, and restart on 3rd December. I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and thank you for your continued support
